In the Arzamas district, a family of Irina and Alexey Nesterov from the village of Krasnoye had triplets. This is the first such case in the district in the past eight years. This was reported by Arzamas Mayor Alexander Schelokov.
According to the city head, the Nesterov family now has five children, with three infants—Sasha, Mark, and Masha—being born quite recently. The mayor personally visited the family to congratulate them on the new arrivals. He noted that he conveyed kind words and support from the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region to the parents.
Schelokov said that the babies were peacefully sleeping during the visit, but the parents admitted that caring for triplets is quite demanding, leaving little free time. In this situation, the family is helped by a nanny—a close friend of the mother and an employee of the local social protection department. The mayor explained that this is part of a new regional initiative called "social nanny," which is included in the family support program "Osnova." Additionally, the parents have the option to rent items for newborns.
The visitors did not come empty-handed: among the gifts were electric swings, which the mayor believes are a real necessity for triplet parents, especially when there are already two children at home.
"The family is wonderful. Very impressed by their zest for life and openness. Their strength and spirit. A rare combination," noted Schelokov.
It was previously reported that new support measures for Nizhny Novgorod families began to take effect from July 1.
