      The Moscow District Court of Nizhny Novgorod extended Ilya Halturin's preventive measure by two months. Former head of Nizhny Novgorod's "Teploenergo" Ilya Halturin will remain in custody until September 25, 2025.

      It is recall that Ilya Halturin was detained in July 2024. He is accused of abuse of office. The investigation believes that the former director signed a contract for work at the Nagornaya CHP with violation of competitive procedures. The damage to the state exceeded 8 million rubles.

      It was previously reported that a resident of Nizhny Novgorod would be sentenced for failure to fulfill obligations to clean the Gorky Sea.
