      Residents of the Автозаводский district of Nizhny Novgorod will be temporarily without water. From 23:00 on July 25 to 02:00 on July 27, cold and hot water, as well as wastewater removal, will be partially disconnected in the area, the administration reported.

      The reason is scheduled maintenance on the pressure sewer collector. Residential buildings, enterprises, and organizations will be affected by the restrictions.

      Zavodskie Seti company explained that they will do everything possible to restore water supply as quickly as possible. The work is planned to take no more than 27 hours. About 40 specialists will work on-site, utilizing 10 units of equipment. They will operate around the clock.

      Specialists will need to dismantle bypass lines that were installed over fifty years ago. These lines are now completely worn out and can no longer perform their function.

      According to experts, updating the collector will increase the reliability of the wastewater system. This will help prevent emergencies and disruptions for more than 400,000 residents of the Автозаводский and Ленинский districts.

      Residents are advised to stock up on drinking water in advance for the duration of the repairs.
