The spring draft of 2025 for military service has been completed in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The "Spring-2025" conscription campaign in the Nizhny Novgorod region has been successfully completed. On July 15, at a meeting of the conscription commission led by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Petr Bannikov, the results of the spring 2025 conscription campaign were summarized. The military commissar of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Colonel Sergey Agafonov, emphasized that the regional enlistment plan was fulfilled within the set deadlines. Drafts from the Nizhny Novgorod region were sent to military units of all branches and types of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Over 3,000 residents of the region, including about 700 from Nizhny Novgorod, were sent to serve in the military units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and other executive authorities where military service is provided. Fifteen Nizhny Novgorod natives were sent to the Presidential Regiment, more than 80 recruits to the Semyonovsky Regiment, and about 30 to the Preobrazhensky Regiment. More than 200 draftees were sent to the Airborne Forces, about 40 to the FSB Border Service, and over 280 to the National Guard troops.
