Marina Rakova left her position as Chief Advisor to the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region. She announced this on her VKontakte page.
She is moving to work at the Moscow City Economy Institute.
"Amid the noise of the sea, I reviewed the events and efforts of these 6.5 years and realized it was a wonderful, surprisingly fulfilling stretch of my journey!" she wrote about her work in Nizhny Novgorod.
According to her, she found a second home in Nizhny Novgorod and was very happy.
Rakova thanked her leader and colleagues for the daily professional drive, noting that "over these years, I have grown two heads above myself."
Now she will lead research on the largest cities and agglomerations of the country at the institute, focusing on various aspects of sustainable development.
It is worth noting that Marina Rakova left her post as Minister of Urban Development and Agglomeration Development of Nizhny Novgorod in December 2024, after which she was appointed as the Chief Advisor to the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region.
