Andrey Korchagin has become the head of Nizhny Novgorod's "Krasny Yakor".

      Economics Andrey Korchagin has headed the Nizhny Novgorod plant "Red Anchor," as reported in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE).

      Prior to his appointment as head, Korchagin served as the internal control director at the enterprise and then temporarily held the position of plant director.

      It is worth noting that the former general director and ex-speaker of the Nizhny Novgorod Duma, Dmitry Barykin, is wanted by federal authorities. According to a Tverskoy Court decision in Moscow, he was sentenced in absentia to two months of detention on charges of large-scale fraud and money laundering. The countdown begins from the moment Barykin is detained within Russia or extradited/deported to the country.

      It was also reported that the criminal case against Barykin is not related to the activities of the "Red Anchor" plant.
