70% of the heat networks in Nizhny Novgorod have undergone testing before the heating season

      Joint-stock company "Teploenergo" completed testing of 1,210 kilometers of heating networks, which accounts for 70% of their total length. This was reported by the Nizhny Novgorod city administration.

      The work was carried out as part of preparations for the 2025–2026 heating season.

      Strength and density testing are mandatory stages of annual diagnostics. They allow identifying potential damages to pipelines, compensators, and supports to address them before the cold season begins.

      Meanwhile, the company is conducting scheduled repairs of boiler houses. To date, preventive work has been completed at 63 out of 113 facilities.

      "Teploenergo" notes that the complete preparation of all systems for the autumn-winter period is planned to be finished by September.

      It was previously reported that workers damaged a gas pipeline during earthworks on Malaya Pokrovskaya.
