Ghost worker for the day condemned in Sarov

      In Sarov, a former department head was sentenced to a suspended term for fraud. He illegally received double salary. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The former head of the Research Complex in Sarov was found guilty of fraudulent activities. The court established that in 2022, he repeatedly received double salary for work on weekends. In reality, he did not go to work on these days but concealed this from management and signed documents with false information about his attendance.

      The violations were detected by investigators from the Investigative Committee in cooperation with the FSB. As a result of the investigation, the court sentenced the ex-employee to two years of probation with a two-year probation period.
