According to him, residents of one of the residential complexes in the city discovered numerous dead blue tits. Specialists suggest that during seasonal migration, birds often encounter anthropogenic obstacles, including large glass surfaces, which they do not perceive as a threat. Ornithologists note that special measures can help reduce the number of such incidents. For example, it is recommended to apply contrasting patterns, dots, stripes, or silhouettes of predatory birds on glass. Another effective option is special ultraviolet films: birds can see them, while they are almost invisible to humans. Experts advise considering this problem when designing and operating modern buildings, especially during mass migration periods.
