At the new boiler house of JSC "OKO" on Dalnaya Street, Mayor Yuri Shalabaev launched the trial heating runs. Earlier, the head of the city signed a decree on conducting trial firings at heating supply facilities from September 1 to 15. By mid-month, the entire heating network complex should be fully prepared for winter. The Department of Housing and Engineering Infrastructure is monitoring compliance with technological requirements.

      Yuri Shalabaev emphasized that trial firings do not mean the start of the heating season. This is a short-term test launch of the system.

      "As long as it is warm outside, it is premature to talk about the start of the new season. As in previous years, we will rely on meteorological forecasts, actual weather conditions, and take into account the opinions of residents," the mayor noted.

      He also added that preparations for winter are proceeding as planned: necessary repair work has already been completed at the city's CHPs, boiler houses, and heating networks, and the heating supply system is currently being checked at the final stage. Sergey Samsonov, the director of the housing department, clarified that resource-supplying organizations have already updated almost 60 km of pipes.

      During the meeting, Dmitry Sivokhin, the general director of JSC "Unified Utility Operator," reported that new automated block-module boiler houses on Dalnaya and Bolshie Ovragi Streets were built in a short time to supply heat to existing and under-construction facilities. According to him, these sources have already allowed residential buildings to switch to more reliable heating supply. In addition, they will provide heat to the under-construction interuniversity IT campus "Neimark" and the prospective development of the Oka slope for the next ten years.

      As Sivokhin noted, starting today, trial firings have begun at the boiler houses of JSC "OKO" according to schedule.

      "All heating supply sources are being turned on sequentially, we are circulating the heat carrier, filling the systems, and checking the operation of the boiler houses under load," he said.

      This work also involves management companies responsible for in-house heating systems. The trial firings are planned to be completed by September 15. At the same time, the regulations do not provide for an increase in air temperature in the premises. After the test launches, the system will remain filled with network water and will be under excess pressure until the start of the heating season.
