This conclusion was reached by experts from the ON Media holding, which is part of the MTS group of companies. The study showed that the region ranked fifth in the nationwide rating for the time spent consuming works on the "KION Lines" service. Ahead were Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, Tatarstan, and the Sverdlovsk region. As experts note, in the summer, residents of Nizhny Novgorod actively use digital services for reading and entertainment: they turn to electronic libraries, participate in reading challenges, download books and podcasts in mobile applications to read on the go or during leisure time. Among the most popular genres among the region's residents are contemporary prose, classics, and fantasy. The most sought-after books of the summer season included "Atlas Shrugged" (16+) by Ayn Rand, "Iron Flame" (18+) and "Fourth Wing" (18+) by Rebecca Yarros, "The Master and Margarita" (16+) by Mikhail Bulgakov, as well as "Tunnel" (18+) by Yana Wagner.
