Registration is open for the 100th race of "Nizhny Novgorod Truth"

      On August 28, 2026, at 16:33, Sport In Nizhny Novgorod, registration opened for the 100th athletic relay race for the prizes of the newspaper "Nizhny Novgorod Truth" (0+). The anniversary start will take place on September 26 at the Rowing Canal near the sports and entertainment center "Goradrom."

      Anyone wishing to participate in the relay can do so in the absence of medical contraindications. To do this, a team of 10 people must be assembled: each participant will run their leg of 200 meters and pass the baton to the next. For some categories of teams, an additional zero stage of 800 meters is provided.

      The organizers invite school, student, sports, and corporate teams to participate. Separate races are planned for teams from government bodies, enterprises, institutions, as well as representatives of religious denominations and ethnic communities.

      Preliminary applications are accepted until September 23 via email at var-sem@mail.ru. The document must be certified by a doctor.

      On the day of the competition, from 8:00 to 10:30 at the SRC "Goradrom," representatives of the teams will be issued starting numbers, and original applications must also be provided at that time.

      Registration is also open on the website pravda-nn.ru.
