Currently, 50 employees of the contracting organization are working on the site. They are dismantling metal structures and cleaning the surfaces of the primary and secondary clarifiers. The work is being carried out both manually and using specialized equipment. More than 630 cubic meters of mineralized sludge have already been extracted. JSC "United Utility Operator" has prepared and handed over 34 facilities of the second technological phase to the general contractor. To maintain the necessary performance of biological wastewater treatment, the facilities are being taken out of operation in stages. Meanwhile, the contractor "SoyuzDonStroy" has begun active construction of a work camp on the station's territory. The site is currently being cleared, temporary engineering networks are being installed, and slabs are being laid. In August, it is planned to set up and equip the headquarters, as well as connect surveillance cameras. Recall that the reconstruction work of the second phase of the NSA started in early July, and the contract with LLC "SoyuzDonStroy" was signed on May 12. As part of this phase, it is planned to update seven aeration tanks, four primary and six secondary clarifiers, the blower building, pumping stations, and switching chambers. In addition, the construction of two ultraviolet disinfection stations and a sludge treatment building is planned. A total of 61 facilities will be reconstructed and built. The second phase is expected to be completed by 2030. The cost of the work is estimated at about 20 billion rubles. The first phase of modernization was completed in December last year. The contractor was the Federal Autonomous Institution "RosKapStroy," with which a contract for full modernization was signed in 2022.
