      On August 7, 2026, at 19:07, SportNizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" made a trade with the hockey club "Sochi." The "Autoworkers" received the sporting rights to 19-year-old forward Roman Maximov, while the "Southerners" obtained the rights to defender Kirill Steklov.

      In the past season, Kirill Steklov played for "Torpedo-Gorky" in the VHL. The defender participated in 56 matches and provided 20 assists.

      Maximov, on the other hand, played in the MHL for the last three seasons. During this time, he took part in 99 games and recorded 66 points (23+43).

      His successful performances for the youth team helped the 19-year-old forward debut in the KHL as part of "Sochi." Maximov played 13 matches and scored one goal.

      Additionally, Maximov represented the youth national team of Russia. At the Future Cup, he played alongside "Torpedo" defender Maxim Agafonov.

      The forward signed a two-year two-way contract with the Nizhny Novgorod club. It was previously reported that forward Yegor Sokolov extended his contract with "Torpedo" for another year.
