From the initiative of residents to real actions

      Literally at the end of last year, the residents of our district actively voted for projects within the framework of the initiative budgeting program "It's Up to You!". Just a few months have passed, and today we see real results: two out of three selected facilities are already ready. This clearly indicates the coordinated work of all stakeholders — from the residents whose proposals formed the basis of the projects to the representatives of the authorities ensuring their implementation.

      The head of the department for landscaping and territory development of the district administration, Andrey Tezenin, spoke about the progress of work on the facilities.

      The results are evident

      The first two projects have already been successfully completed. Thus, on July 1, the work on laying the road on Lugovaya Street in the village of Maloye Murashkino was completed. This project directly contributes to improving the transport accessibility and safety of the village residents. The length of the new road surface was 220 linear meters, and the total cost of the work was 1 million 135 thousand rubles.

      The second completed project was the installation of the Rozhnovsky tower in the village of Karabatovo. This facility is vital for providing the population with drinking water. The cost of the project was 1 million 203 thousand rubles.

      In progress — a sidewalk in the district center

      The construction of a sidewalk in Bolshoye Murashkino is in full swing. This project, covering the section from the bus station to Krasnaya Gorka Street, is estimated at 1 million 449 thousand rubles. The completion of the work is scheduled before September 1, which will allow residents of the district center to have a convenient and safe pedestrian route.

      Plans for 2027: preparation has begun

      Despite the fact that current projects are still in the completion stage, the district administration is already actively preparing for the "It's Up to You!" program for 2027.

      As a result of discussions and voting, four priority projects have been identified:

      • Bolshoye Murashkino: construction of a sidewalk on Shkolnaya Street;

      • Kholyazino: landscaping of a square (construction of asphalt paths and installation of lighting);

      • Nogavitsino: road construction (graveling);

      • Kishkino: installation of a street lighting system.

      — Currently, all necessary project and estimate documentation is undergoing verification at Nizhny Novgorod State Expertise. Upon completion of this stage, the package of documents will be sent for review and approval to the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. After receiving all necessary approvals, voting will be held, which will take place at the end of this year. The activity of citizens will determine which of the proposed initiatives will receive funding and be implemented in 2027, — emphasized Andrey Evgenyevich.

      Participation in the "It's Up to You!" program is not just an opportunity to receive budget funds for infrastructure development, but a real tool for influencing the appearance of the native land. Every vote cast for a particular project brings us closer to creating a comfortable environment that meets the demands of the residents themselves.

      Let us remind you that the initiative budgeting program has proven its effectiveness: thanks to co-financing from the region and the active position of the population, the most pressing issues are resolved in the district every year — from road repairs to the modernization of life support systems.
