For the ex-co-owner of "TNS Energy" Arjanov, 18 years in a penal colony has been requested.
The prosecution has requested 18 years in a strict regime colony for the former co-owner of the company "TNS Energy," Dmitry Arjanov. The hearings on the criminal case are taking place in the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow.
For three other defendants, the prosecutor suggested sentencing them to 16 to 17 years of imprisonment. According to the investigation, they participated in the embezzlement of funds from PJSC "MRSK Center" and PJSC "MRSK Center and Volga Region."
The total amount of the alleged damage approaches 15 billion rubles. The investigation considers Dmitry Arjanov to be the organizer of the criminal scheme.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the defendants provided energy companies with information about large debts of consumers. At the same time, the money went to "TNS Energy," but instead of paying for the supplied electricity, part of the funds could have been transferred abroad.
The investigation believes that accounts of several companies registered in Cyprus were used to transfer the money.
Dmitry Arjanov was detained in 2020. In the summer of 2026, the arrested businessman’s real estate was once again put up for auction. The list included two houses and a land plot in the village of Novaya near Nizhny Novgorod.
