The Nizhny Novgorod court placed former deputy Shumilkov under house arrest.

      On August 4, 2026, at 09:39, incidents occurred in the Sormovsky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod, which changed the measure of restraint for former deputy and director of the management company Nikolai Shumilkov. This was reported by the press service of the regional court. He was released from custody and placed under house arrest until September 14 inclusive. The court's ruling has not yet entered into legal force.

      Recall that Shumilkov was arrested in April 2026. He is accused under part 3 of article 30 and part 4 of article 204 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - of attempting to illegally transfer funds to a person performing managerial functions in a commercial organization, in a particularly large amount.

      According to the investigation, the defendant, being a participant in the management company in Sormovo, attempted to transfer more than 1 million rubles to another participant of the organization. The money was intended for voting on the issue of the resignation of the current general director and the appointment of a new candidate.
