Traffic has been temporarily restricted on three federal highways in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The reason is road works that will last until July 26. This was reported by the Federal State Institution "Volga-Vyatka Road Administration."
On the M-7 highway towards Kazan, fresh asphalt is currently being laid. The road has been narrowed for the time being, and cars are moving in one lane. In the Lyskovsky district, you can't speed up either: in some sections, traffic is allowed alternately in one direction.
There are also obstacles on the R-158 "Nizhny Novgorod – Saratov" highway. Due to the repair of the bridge over the Kudma River, drivers will only be able to pass through a narrowed section of the road. Road repairs are also planned to resume in the Dalenekonstantinovsky district. Two lanes will be available for drivers. The road is also being repaired in the Arzamas district – the bridge over the Tesh River. You can pass, but still only through the narrowed part of the road. However, in the Shatkovsky municipal district, there are no travel restrictions, as the work there was completed ahead of schedule. "To 'sneak through' on the R-177 'Povetluzhye' highway is a tricky task. Due to repairs, the road has been narrowed, and in some sections, a reverse flow is possible.
You can pass over the Lynda and Zamara rivers via a temporary road. But be careful – there is a reversible traffic organization on the bypass road through Zimara.
