According to data as of July 17, 2026, 1.65 million square meters of multi-apartment housing are being built in the region. Only Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and Perm Krai are ranked higher in the rating published on the "Unified Information System for Housing Construction" portal. The head of the regional Ministry of Construction, Dmitry Grunichev, reported that increasing the availability of housing remains one of the priority tasks of the regional government. According to him, systematic work is being carried out in the region to increase the volume of housing construction. Over the past five years, the volume of housing under construction under Federal Law No. 214-FZ has increased by 41%. For comparison, in 2021, this figure was 1.17 million square meters.
