The party delegation of "United Russia" checked the progress of the improvement of the public space stretching 1 km in Lyskov.

      On July 20, 2026, at 17:12, Society In Lyskov, the second stage of the improvement of the public space on Michurina Street is underway. New pedestrian and bicycle paths, modern lighting, and the planting of trees and shrubs have already appeared here. Activists from "United Russia" inspected the progress of the work and assessed the interim results as part of a party initiative.

      "It is very gratifying that a new public space will soon appear in Lyskov—a place that attracts residents. Such transformation of areas is only possible thanks to the joint work of the authorities and the population. The main thing is to hear the requests of the people and respond in a timely manner. For this, 'United Russia' formed the People's Program five years ago, where improvement took one of the key positions," noted Vyacheslav Aksinyin, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      As of today, the overall readiness of the site is estimated at 86 percent. Contractors are addressing comments and completing the installation of small architectural forms.

      "We see that the main elements have already been installed, and landscaping has been completed by almost 90 percent. There is a slight delay from the schedule—about three to four weeks. But I am confident that the contractor will resolve everything, and this year we will have a completed project. Already now, residents are happily riding on the bike paths and walking on the illuminated sidewalks," said Alexander Kochmarev, head of the Lyskov municipal district and secretary of the local branch of the 'United Russia' party.

      According to the project authors' concept, the location is intended to become a point of attraction for evening walks. The children's playground has been equipped with a cable on posts, swings with a canopy, and ladder-maze structures. Interactive equipment has been installed for young residents of Lyskov—a manual excavator, chess tables, and developmental panels for "Tic-Tac-Toe" and "Four in a Row."

      "This square has already become a real place of attraction for our family. There are excellent bike paths—we all ride together with pleasure, and the children happily spend time on the modern playground and swings. It is evident how the space is literally transforming before our eyes. Now we eagerly await the full completion of the work to fully enjoy the renovated square," shared local resident Alexey Alyoshin.

      Special attention has been given to the future café area: the building frame and roof are already ready. Soon, concrete tables surrounded by poufs will appear here.

      Also, information poles with signs will be placed in the square, additional bike parking will be installed, and as part of the digitalization of the space, Wi-Fi points will be deployed in the square, along with several dozen surveillance cameras.

      All work must be completed by the contractors by the end of August.
