Vladimir Kristovsky admitted that he dreams of moving to Nizhny Novgorod.
July 11, 2026 14:55 Culture and Leisure The founder of the Uma2rman group, Vladimir Kristovsky, spoke at the VK Fest (0+) lecture, which is taking place today at Strelka, and admitted that he would like to live in his hometown.
In response to a question about what distinguishes Nizhny Novgorod residents, the musician noted that for him, they are primarily his own people and his hometown. According to him, he always comes here as if returning home.
"Great people have always lived here. And they continue to live here now. New ones are born, new ones grow up — and they are all better than before," said the artist.
Speaking about the qualities of Nizhny Novgorod residents, Kristovsky emphasized that people are different everywhere, but overall, the city makes a very strong impression. He noted that Nizhny Novgorod is flourishing thanks to its residents, many of whom are talented and creative individuals striving to make the city better.
The musician also stated that he considers the capital of the Volga region an incredibly cool city for living, not just for recreation.
"I would move myself. I dream of moving to Nizhny," he confessed.
According to Kristovsky, he is currently held back by his work in Moscow and frequent performances in the capital and St. Petersburg, which makes constant relocations inconvenient. He added that he is now visiting Nizhny more often.
