      FC "Pari NN" has announced its return to the historical name. This was reported by the club. From the 2026/2027 season, the team will once again compete as FC "Nizhny Novgorod" - under this name it played from 2018 to 2022. Information about the possible renaming became known in early July. At that time, it was reported that the bookmaker would retain its status as the title sponsor, but its name would disappear from the team's branding. The club has now officially confirmed the name change and thanked the PARI betting company for its contribution to development and the implemented joint projects. The company will continue its cooperation with the team as a partner. At the same time, there has been a change in the club's founder. The new key shareholder is entrepreneur Andrey Artemov. The agreement was signed by the investor himself, the general director of ANO TSURS Maxim Gafurov, and the general director of FC "Nizhny Novgorod" Vitaly Karasev. Meanwhile, funding from the budget of the Nizhny Novgorod region is being discontinued. The region, as specified, will focus on the development of youth football, support for free schools and sections, as well as the organization of tournaments. The general partner of the club has become the Nizhpharm group of companies. Among the official and strategic partners are also Wildberries, Sovcombank, Repik Active, PARI, and the Nizhny Novgorod group of companies. The club hopes that the support of partners will help address the tasks of the first team and implement long-term infrastructure projects, including the development of the Academy. Maxim Gafurov noted that only a few clubs in Russian professional football exist due to private investments, and he called the arrival of the investor a timely step. According to him, the parties have a common understanding of the significance of the club for the region and the goals it should strive for. Vitaly Karasev emphasized that the emergence of new investors is an important stage of development, related not only to current results but also to the long-term future of the team. The club also added that the team continues preparations for the start of the season in the PARI League. The management and coaching staff, with the support of the new shareholder, have managed to maintain the stability of the squad and conduct an active transfer campaign. Additionally, it should be noted that the PARI betting company previously ceased cooperation with the Torpedo hockey club and did not extend its partnership with the Nizhny Novgorod basketball club.
