Interest in searching for gas stations in 2GIS has significantly increased: since mid-June, the number of requests has increased sevenfold compared to the average values of last year, and on July 3, the figure was 13 times higher. This is related to the increase in user requests about fuel availability. The map is available on the main screen of the 2GIS app and on the website benzin.2gis.ru. Users can choose a suitable gas station using filters, specify the availability of the required type of fuel, and immediately build a route considering the traffic situation. Developers note that the service will evolve by connecting new data sources and refining information about refueling. "We launched the gasoline map in 2GIS so that drivers could calmly plan their trips and know where to go for fuel. We combined anonymized transaction data and user reports in one service, allowing drivers to find out what type of fuel is available at gas stations, its cost, what limits are in place for refueling, and what the queue situation is. And all this is in the familiar app, where you can not only find a gas station but also navigate to it," said Sergey Kirillov, head of transportation and navigation products at 2GIS. "Users are already sharing information about fuel availability at gas stations in 2GIS, and with the launch of the new service, this has become even easier - in the gas station card, you can indicate, for example, what type of gasoline is available and what the queue is like."
