      July 10, 2026 14:14 Society The Privolzhsky Research Medical University (PRMU) is looking for a contractor for the major renovation of the facade of educational building No. 2 on Gagarin Avenue. This is reported on the government procurement portal. The initial price of the contract is 67.2 million rubles. Only small and medium-sized enterprises can participate in the competition. Applications are accepted until July 27. The results are planned to be summarized on July 30. The work will be carried out in stages from the date of signing the contract and will be completed in October 2027 on different parts of the facade. According to the conditions, the renovation must be carried out at positive air temperatures. The first two stages will start immediately after the contract is signed and must be completed by November 31, 2026. During this period, the removal of old plaster, insulation and painting of the facade, installation of cornices, as well as waterproofing and insulation of the underground part of the foundation are planned. In addition, the installation of a backup entrance is provided. The third and fourth stages are scheduled for the period from March to October 2027. They also include a set of works for updating the facade: dismantling the old covering, insulation, painting, and installation of cornices. According to information on the university's website, the construction of the building began in 1936, but with the onset of the Great Patriotic War, work was suspended and was only fully completed in 1958.
