"Rostelecom Lyceum" has launched free online intensives for school students.
On July 7, 2026, at 14:22 Society During the summer holidays, the educational platform "Rostelecom Lyceum" launched two online intensives for teenagers aged 11-15 aimed at developing digital skills. The program of each course includes short video lessons, text summaries, practical assignments, as well as the opportunity for online communication with a curator and "classmates." The materials will be available on the platform until August 31, 2026.
Participants in the online intensive "Creating Code with Neural Networks" will master the basic principles of working with artificial intelligence, learn to create HTML code and work with the CSS style language, and will also be able to develop their own web application, which will be published in the popular social network for programmers, GitHub, upon completion of the course.
The second summer intensive is dedicated to digital creativity. Teenagers will immerse themselves in the world of design, learn to understand composition and work with color. At the end of the course, each participant will compile a portfolio of three works: a self-drawn character in the graphic editor Krita, their own sticker pack, and a designed poster.
Each course consists of ten interactive lessons lasting 10-15 minutes. Their instructors are professional developers, artists, and designers. The program of one intensive is designed for two weeks; however, teenagers can choose a pace of learning that is comfortable for them, without turning their holidays into "a second school."
Alexander Ryakhovsky, director of the office of promising and partner products at Rostelecom:
"Digital skills are becoming increasingly in demand, and we strive to help young people master them now. The summer online intensives of the Lyceum are a continuation of our work on developing digital competencies, which we started in the spring of 2026. At that time, we placed 24 online courses on popular digital topics on the platform and saw huge interest from teenagers. The new free courses are not just lectures, but an opportunity to create the first real projects that may become the beginning of a great journey."
