Basta gathered a record 47 thousand spectators at the concert in Nizhny Novgorod - video

      On June 28, 2026, at 01:55 Culture and Leisure, the concert of Basta (16+) held at the "Sovcombank Arena" on June 27 was attended by 47,632 people. This set a new record for both the venue and the city, reports NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" correspondent.

      The evening opened with the performance of "Sormovskaya Lyrical" by the choir. Throughout the concert, Vasily Vakulenko (Basta's real name - Ed. note) mentioned Nizhny Novgorod multiple times in his songs.

      For two and a half hours, Basta performed his most famous compositions, including "My Game," "Medlyachok," and "Samsara."

      A light rain did not spoil the atmosphere of the concert. On the contrary, it added a special mood during the lyrical songs.

      During the performance, invited guests joined Basta. Nizhny Novgorod native Ramil Alimov, known as Ramil', performed the song "Shine" with the artist.

      Comedian Dmitry Zhuravlev sang their joint track "Girl in Flowers" with Basta, turning the performance into a mass karaoke.

      This evening was also special for two pairs of spectators. Right during the concert, a gender reveal party was held for them: one family learned they were expecting a girl, while the other learned they were having a boy.

      Earlier, in communication with journalists, the artist highly praised the changes that have taken place in Nizhny Novgorod and stated that other Russian cities should take him as an example.
