The Ministry of Education named the best schools in the Nizhny Novgorod region based on the results of the All-Russian School Olympiad.
The Ministry of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has named the schools whose students performed most successfully in the final stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad. Five educational institutions from the region made it to the list of leaders, the press service of the ministry reported.
Among the best were Lyceum No. 40 of Nizhny Novgorod, Lyceum No. 3 of Sarov, Sosnovskaya Secondary School No. 1, Dzerzhinsk School No. 22 with an in-depth study of the French language, and the boarding lyceum "Center for Gifted Children."
Lyceum No. 40 achieved the highest result. Its students received five diplomas of varying levels, reported the Minister of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Mikhail Puchkov.
According to the head of the ministry, the success was the result of systematic work by educators and regional support for talented children. Students prepare for the Olympiads both in their educational institutions and in special programs with more complex tasks.
A significant contribution to the preparation of participants was made by the regional talent development center "Vega." Over the academic year, specialists organized more than 30 intensive educational modules on various subjects.
The results of Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren in computer science and economics have improved significantly. The ministry linked this dynamic to the work of experienced teachers and mentors.
In total, representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Region received 27 diplomas at the final stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad. Among them were four winner diplomas and 23 awards for runners-up.
At Lyceum No. 40, it was noted that students begin preparing for the Olympiads from an early age. They conduct additional special courses, classes with university teachers, and programs that develop research skills and interest in science.
