Two men and one teenager were rescued at water bodies in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On June 26, 2026, at 15:51, Incidents: Three people were rescued by emergency services specialists in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported on social media by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev. On June 12, a teenager unsuccessfully jumped from a bridge into the water and sustained a head injury. Rescuers Yuri Morozov and Artem Solovyov were on duty at the scene. They helped the 17-year-old boy get to the shore, provided first aid, and handed him over to medical personnel. The injured person is now doing fine. Also, in the first month of summer, rescuers managed to prevent two more tragedies. Two men were swimming outside the safe beach zone and suddenly began to drown. Eyewitnesses called emergency services at 112 and attempted to help on their own. The rescuers who arrived at the scene brought the drowning men to the shore and handed them over to the ambulance crew. Both men survived.
