The investor purchased the Maklakov House in Pavlov for 10.9 million rubles.
On June 26, 2026, at 11:53 AM, Culture and Recreation: The architectural monument of regional significance "A. Maklakov's House" in Pavlovo will be restored by its new owner. The property was purchased by LLC "Korona" for an initial price of 10.9 million rubles. This was reported in his Max channel by the deputy governor of the region, Yegor Polyakov. The building, constructed in 1904, was put up for auction in May. The house is a representative example of the development of the main shopping street with rich decorative embellishments on the facades in "brick style." For a long time, the cultural heritage site was in unsatisfactory condition. According to Yegor Polyakov, the investor is considering the possibility of using the building for tourist infrastructure. This is related to the fact that at the beginning of the year, Pavlovo entered the updated route of the "Golden Ring." The deputy governor added that there is a preferential lending program in the region: 9% per annum is provided for projects to restore cultural heritage sites, and 6% for the creation and development of hotels in historical buildings. Earlier, Governor Gleb Nikitin reported that since 2018, more than 870 cultural heritage sites have been restored in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The successful work of the region in this direction was also noted by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
