Another plot is being expropriated in Novinki for the construction of a bypass road to Gagarin.

      June 26, 2026 13:19 Economy The Ministry of Property and Land Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region issued an order for the expropriation of a land plot for state needs. The document was published on the agency's website.

      The land in question is necessary for the construction of the fourth phase of the road "Duplication of Gagarin Avenue." The basis for this was a petition from the State Budgetary Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Main Department of Highways."

      The expropriation will affect a plot of 500 square meters in the village of Novinki, in the gardening partnership "Khimik" (plot No. 7). The land is classified as agricultural with the permitted use of "gardening."

      The order states that the expropriation will take place in accordance with the law, and the owner will receive compensation.

      Let us remind you that the project for the duplication of Gagarin Avenue is being implemented under a concession agreement dated December 2, 2023. The total length of the highway will exceed 12.3 kilometers. The construction period is estimated at 4.5 years, with investments valued at 64.4 billion rubles. The concession is granted for 30 years and 9 months.

      The road includes the second, third, and fourth phases. Currently, the main work is being carried out on the second and third phases. Traffic on the third phase is planned to open by September 30, 2026, and on the second by June 30, 2027.

      The implementation of the fourth phase with a bridge over the Oka will begin after attracting federal co-financing.
