There is a lot of water in Vyksa, and its role in the past and present of the city is unique. The festival will help to see the Vyksa ponds, rivers, and dams not only as part of the landscape but as historical heritage, an important industrial resource, and the birthplace of Vyksa itself. In the year of its 185th anniversary, Sber became the Green partner of this event. Together with artist Yaroslav Subbotin, Sber created a series of sculptures "Legendary Beavers and Mermaids" (0+), symbolizing the harmony of land and water, specifically for the city. They became part of the public art project of the festival "Practices of Admiration" (6+) and are located on the banks of ponds and rivers. According to legend, beavers and mermaids were the first guardians of the Vyksa lands. Beavers created and reinforced the banks, while mermaids filled them with life, protecting the waters. Its ponds and rivers are not just part of the landscape, but the foundation of local history and identity. In creating 'Legendary Beavers and Mermaids,' I wanted to come up with a mythology that could always exist here: a story about the guardians of land and water, thanks to whom this unique world arose. It is especially important to me that after the festival, the sculptures will continue to live alongside the city, becoming part of its memory."

      This year, the "Vyksa Festival" offers guests not only a rich cultural program but also comfortable relaxation in nature. For everyone interested, Sber has organized a special picnic area with a DJ set, where you can enjoy music and fresh air throughout the event days. The Volga-Vyatka Bank of Sberbank* serves nine subjects of the Russian Federation - Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Kirov regions, the Republics of Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Mordovia, Mari El, Udmurtia, and Perm Krai.
