Nizhny Novgorod has become one of the leaders in the number of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) among Russian cities. Currently, there are 112 such stations in the city. The study was conducted by analysts from 2GIS. Over the past year, the number of EVCS across Russia has increased by 12%. The largest number of stations is in Moscow—there are more than 1100 stations operating there, which is 37.5% more than a year earlier. In St. Petersburg, nearly 400 EVCS are available (+22.5%), while in Krasnoyarsk, there are 180 EVCS (+7.8%). Nizhny Novgorod ranks seventh in the rating. The city has a total of 112 stations, which is 3% more than last year. Kirov has become the leader in the growth of stations, with an increase of 118.2% (from 11 to 24). Nizhny Tagil is in second place (+100%), and Orenburg is third (+76.9%). The highest charging price for electric vehicles is recorded in Krasnodar—360 rubles for 100 km. Nizhny Novgorod is in second place. Over the year, the cost of kWh has increased by 1 ruble—from 18 to 19 rubles, and the price for charging 100 km amounted to 342 rubles. The value has increased by 6%. In Ufa and Chelyabinsk, the prices for electric vehicle refueling have risen most noticeably—by 28.6% and 14.3%, respectively. In St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Krasnoyarsk, the cost remained unchanged. Earlier, the website pravda-nn.ru reported that restrictions on gasoline sales were introduced at Nizhny Novgorod gas stations.
