On June 19, 2026, at 10:14 AM, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, bailiffs executed a court decision to transfer an 8-year-old boy to the guardianship authorities to ensure his safety. As reported by the Main Department of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the enforcement document was received by the Sormovo District Department of Bailiffs. According to the agency, the 43-year-old father of the child led an antisocial lifestyle and did not pay proper attention to his son. The boy was effectively left without the necessary supervision and care. The service noted that the guardianship authorities had taken measures to improve the situation in the family, but they did not yield results. After that, the agency's employees filed a lawsuit to deprive the man of parental rights. In the interest of the child's safety, a decision was made to transfer him to the staff of a specialized social institution. After initiating the enforcement proceedings, the bailiff, together with a representative of the guardianship authorities, went to the boy's place of residence. They held an explanatory conversation with the debtor, during which he was informed that the application of coercive measures could negatively affect the child's psychological state. As a result, the minor was handed over to the staff of the specialized social institution. The enforcement proceedings were concluded due to the actual execution of the court's decision. Earlier, we reported that a Nizhny Novgorod woman was reunited with her little granddaughter after a year of separation. Photo: NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
