      The VI Forum "Strong Ideas for a New Time" will take place on August 10-11 in Nizhny Novgorod. Preparations for the event are nearing completion: the organizers have extended the application deadline on the crowd platform idea.roscongress.rf until June 25 due to high interest from participants and a large number of incoming initiatives. "The Forum 'Strong Ideas for a New Time' traditionally generates high interest from citizens, the expert community, business representatives, and government authorities. This year, over 40,000 applications have already been submitted to the crowd platform idea.roscongress.rf from residents of all 89 regions of Russia, each of which requires careful consideration and expert evaluation. The extension of the idea submission period will allow for additional projects from the regions and provide an opportunity for even more authors to participate in the business program of the Forum, which will take place on August 10-11 in Nizhny Novgorod," noted Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and the executive secretary of the Forum's Organizing Committee. Authors are proposing solutions in six areas: social sphere, entrepreneurship, technology, workforce training, ecology and climate, as well as the development of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The forum community has already united over 637,000 people. "The Forum helps to see the country through the eyes of its people. Thousands of initiatives form a living map of requests, expectations, and development opportunities. Today, almost every second idea concerns quality of life, health, education, and social support. More than 3,300 proposals have been submitted by authors on the topic of education and enlightenment, over 2,500 in the field of healthcare and healthy lifestyles. This choice of topics shows that the main value for people remains human development. The Forum gives everyone the opportunity to become a co-author of positive changes and propose solutions that will benefit an entire region or the whole country," emphasized Svetlana Chupsheva, General Director of ASI. The largest number of initiatives has been received in the National Social Initiative – 18,300 proposals. Another 6,500 ideas were dedicated to the development of entrepreneurship, 4,700 to ecology and climate issues, 4,600 to technology, and 4,400 to workforce training. The organizers of the forum are the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation, with co-organizers being VEB.RF and the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The VI Forum "Strong Ideas for a New Time" has already opened applications for participation. Organizations, associations, and individual participants who want to contribute to the future of Russia, receive expert support, and exchange experiences with like-minded individuals can join the Forum community. Over the years, more than 160,000 ideas have been submitted to the forum through the crowd platform idea.roscongress.rf. Every year, the authors of the best initiatives receive comprehensive support and practical solutions for further development from the forum organizers, regional authorities, and partners. Finalists from previous years had the opportunity to present their projects to the President of the Russian Federation at the event venue. More than 3,000 specialists are already participating in the expert evaluation of projects. The expertise will conclude on July 27. The goal of the forum is to select and implement strong ideas that will make a significant contribution to the country's development and the achievement of national goals. Interest in the forum is growing every year. If in 2020 participants submitted 14,700 ideas, by 2025 that number had already exceeded 35,000. This record has now been broken. During this time, thousands of projects and initiatives have received support through ASI services, forum partners, and regional mechanisms.
