The Moscow government allocated 300 million for the renovation of the "House of Moscow" in Balakhna.

      On June 16, 2026, at 09:00, the Moscow government will allocate 300 million rubles to the Nizhny Novgorod region for the renovation of the cultural and leisure center "House of Moscow" in Balakhna. The corresponding amendment to the regional budget was reviewed by the "budget" committee of the ZSNO, reports "Ъ-Privolzhye."

      The committee chairman, Alexander Sharonov, positively assessed the decision of the capital's authorities, noting that Moscow had previously participated in the creation of this facility and is now helping with its renovation.

      The cultural and leisure center "House of Moscow" was built in Balakhna in 2008 as an additional education center. The opening ceremony of the building was attended by the then mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov. The capital allocated 220 million rubles for the construction of the facility.
