The group "Moya Mishel" will perform at the "Golden Khokhloma" in Semyonov.

      The program of the XXII International Festival of Folk Arts and Crafts "Golden Khokhloma" (0+) has been published in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The large-scale celebration will take place on June 20 and 21 in Semyonovo with the support of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."

      Traditionally, the festival will bring together masters of folk arts and crafts from dozens of regions of Russia and other countries. This year, the organizers decided to showcase the crafts not as museum exhibits, but as a living tradition that continues to develop thanks to the work of modern masters and artists.

      The main events of the first day will unfold in Lenin Square. Here, from morning until evening, there will be a concert program featuring folk groups, folk performers, ethnic projects, and cover bands. The headliners of the evening will be the band "Moya Mishel" and DJ Topchiy.

      From 10:00 to 17:00, there will be a fair of folk crafts and master classes for visitors of all ages in the square. At 11:00, the festival will be visited by Sergey Skvortsov, a native of Semyonovo and a player of the Torpedo hockey club. He will hold an autograph session and a master class on painting wooden hockey pucks.

      The festival venues will also be located in different parts of the city. A family program will be prepared for guests in the square near Lenin Square, an amusement park, a "City Picnic," a gallery "Provincial Arbat," and a children's theater on the territory of school No. 1. The Center for Culture and Arts will host a free screening of a series of animated films about folk crafts of Russia.

      A special program has been prepared by the museums of Semyonovo - the museum and tourist center "Golden Khokhloma," "House of Semyon the Spoon Maker," the Historical and Art Museum, and the Matryoshka Museum. An open house day, lectures, and a performance of "Matryoshka" will take place at the "Khokhloma Painting" factory.

      On the second day of the festival, creative groups from municipal districts and the Nizhny Novgorod Governor's Orchestra will perform in Lenin Square. In addition, there will be an exhibition from the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The fair of folk crafts of Russia will continue.

      Guests will also be able to visit an open-air art gallery, an interactive children's playground, an amusement park, and a "City Picnic." The museums and the "Khokhloma Painting" factory will again offer tours and exhibition programs. The sports part of the festival will conclude with a track and field run from Semyonovo to the village of Merinovo.
