Four people drowned in the Nizhny Novgorod region over the week.
From June 8 to June 14, there were 10 incidents on the water in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. Emergency service employees managed to save five people, including two children. One of the incidents occurred on Sunday, June 14, when a boat began to sink at the Molitovsky Bridge on the Oka River. It should be noted that rescuers were able to evacuate two people from the vessel. Unfortunately, four more people drowned in the region's water bodies. It is worth mentioning that three tragedies occurred on Saturday, June 13, in Nizhny Novgorod and the Vachsky district. Earlier, we reported that residents of Nizhny Novgorod were sent notifications about the need to boil water.
