"Torpedo" will open the home season on September 14 with a match against "Ak Bars".

      The first home match (6+) of HC "Torpedo" in the 2026/2027 season will take place on September 14. The Nizhny Novgorod team will face off on the ice against Kazan's "Ak Bars." "Mark the date in your calendar and start the countdown to the first game in Nizhny," wrote representatives of "Torpedo" on social media. Fans clarified in the comments which venue this match will take place at. It was previously reported that the Ice Arena at Strelka is planned to be handed over for use to HC "Torpedo" in the summer of 2026. As of now, this has not yet happened.
