      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a 43-year-old man suffered a shattered femur after a metal structure fell on him and experienced clinical death. This was reported by the editor-in-chief of the medical publication "Stationary-Press," Alexey Nikonov.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, doctors from the Volga District Medical Center helped the man walk again after a severe injury. He had been undergoing treatment for a year — but unsuccessfully: every time he tried to take a step, the bone would break again. In 2024, a metal structure fell on the 43-year-old man. He broke his femur and briefly lost vital signs — doctors recorded clinical death. When he was brought to the fourth hospital of the Volga District Medical Center, one leg was five centimeters shorter than the other, and he could not walk independently. Surgeons performed the operation through small incisions — inserting a metal rod into the bone that stabilized the fracture without damaging the surrounding tissues.
