Nizhny Novgorod gymnast Dina Averina and Dmitry Solovyov are expecting their first child.

      A native of Zavolzhye, Olympic medalist and 18-time world champion in rhythmic gymnastics Dina Averina is expecting a child. The news of the upcoming addition was first revealed after her appearance on the red carpet of the Muz-TV Awards (16+). The athlete chose a black fitted dress that accentuated her noticeably rounded belly. Shortly after, the joyful news was confirmed by the gymnast's husband, Olympic ice dancing champion Dmitry Solovyov. He posted photos from their joint photo shoot on his social media, captioning the images with the words "Waiting for a miracle." The couple met in 2024 during the filming of the project "Ice Age." Their romance began in the autumn of the same year, and in July of last year, the lovers got married. For 27-year-old Dina, this child will be her first. Dmitry Solovyov has a son from a previous relationship. In a conversation with The Voice Mag, the gymnast shared that she is in her eighth month of pregnancy and plans to give birth in Nizhny Novgorod.
