      May 30, 2026 13:24 Society A sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected in the Nizhny Novgorod region in the next 1-3 hours. This is reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region. On May 30, heavy rains are forecasted in some areas of the region, as well as in Nizhny Novgorod. The bad weather will persist until the end of the day and continue into the night of May 31. While driving personal vehicles, residents of Nizhny Novgorod are advised to reduce speed due to decreased visibility, softening, and washing away of road shoulders and dirt roads, as well as slippery road surfaces.
