      Residents of Dzerzhinsk will celebrate City Day in 2026 without a parade and a procession of labor collectives. The holiday takes place on May 30.

      The decision to forgo the parade and procession was announced the day before by the first deputy head of the city of chemists, Gleb Andreev. According to him, the program of the holiday had to be revised for safety reasons.

      At the same time, other events of City Day will take place as planned. At noon, Dzerzhinsk residents and tourists will be able to attend concerts and master classes. The exception is the program on the Oka embankment: it has been completely canceled. Earlier, we reported on the plans of the Nizhny Novgorod authorities to cut expenses for the celebrations.
