Due to the merger of Nizhny Novgorod and Kstovo, the city administration has issued an updated regulation on the Nizhny Novgorod city award. The document is posted on the administration's website. The award, in the amount of one million rubles, will be awarded annually to individuals or groups of up to ten people for projects implemented in the past year. It is presented to the authors of outstanding works that have made a significant contribution to the development of the city and have brought it fame beyond Nizhny Novgorod. A total of 16 nominations have been approved: education, science and higher education, parental education, medicine, entrepreneurship and industry, innovations and digital technologies, etc. The full list is at the end. Applications are accepted from May 10 to May 31. Expert commissions evaluate projects based on six criteria (a maximum of 60 points): effectiveness, relevance, scale, uniqueness, image value, and project legacy. The award ceremony will be timed to coincide with City Day.
