Currently, guests can check into hotels not only in the traditional way using a passport but also with a driver's license or any other document that verifies identity, including using a digital passport on "Gosuslugi." Each hotel owner is developing their own roadmap for entering this system.

      "Even if a person forgets their passport and rushes off on a business trip or vacation, nothing will hinder their journey because convenient services are in place," noted the minister.

      He added that within a year, the technologies will spread across the entire territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. According to Yakovlev, limitations of mobile internet should not affect the operation of the services, as they use other communication channels.
