A store employee died at the workplace in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On May 20, 2026, at 15:35, Incidents: The head of the department of the "NizhBel" store in Balakhna could not be saved when he suddenly felt unwell at his workplace. This was reported by the press service of the State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The tragedy occurred on the morning of May 16. At approximately 09:55, an employee of the "Avtomig" store on Dzerzhinsky Street suddenly felt unwell. Colleagues helped him lie down, provided first aid, and called an ambulance. A team of specialists arrived on the scene and attempted to resuscitate the man for half an hour; however, around 10:38, he passed away. An investigation has been initiated, and the State Labor Inspectorate is establishing all the details of the workplace accident.
