The engineer of "TNS Energy Nizhny Novgorod" was fined one million rubles for commercial bribery.

      On May 15, 2026, at 18:37, Incidents: In Diveevo, a verdict was handed down to the engineer of the energy supply organization, Sergey Gradov. He was found guilty of commercial bribery, as reported by the press service of the regional court.

      It was established that the man worked as an engineer in the consumer services group of the Diveevo section of the Vyksa branch of PJSC "TNS Energy Nizhny Novgorod." During the temporary performance of duties as the section head, he acted together with another person, whose case has been separated into a separate proceeding.

      According to the court, he received 12,000 rubles from a local resident. In return, he ensured the maintenance of more favorable conditions for the energy supply contract of a residential building, where commercial activities were actually conducted, and prevented the transfer of the facility to a higher tariff intended for legal entities.

      Gradov entered into a pre-trial cooperation agreement and fully admitted his guilt. The court imposed a fine of 1,200,000 rubles and also prohibited him from engaging in activities related to the conclusion, modification, and execution of energy supply contracts, settlements with electricity consumers, and performing managerial and administrative functions in commercial organizations in the energy supply sector for three years.

      Taking into account the time spent in custody and under house arrest, the fine amount was reduced to 1,000,000 rubles. Additionally, 12,000 rubles obtained as a result of the crime were recovered from the convicted individual.

      The verdict has not yet entered into legal force. Earlier, it was reported that the former chief physician of the Sernyansk Central District Hospital was found guilty of embezzlement.
