      On May 14, 2026, at 10:25, Incidents The Sergaсh Interdistrict Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region issued a verdict against the former chief physician of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "Sergach Central District Hospital," Mikhail Martynov, in a case of embezzlement of the medical institution's property, the press service of the regional court reported. The criminal case was reviewed on May 13. Martynov was accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - embezzlement, that is, the misappropriation of entrusted property using his official position. The court established that from November 2024 to January 2025, while serving as chief physician, he used an official fuel card for unauthorized purposes. Instead of refueling a work vehicle, gasoline was paid for a car registered in his wife's name. As a result, the hospital suffered damage amounting to over 25,000 rubles. The court found Mikhail Martynov guilty and imposed a fine of 150,000 rubles. In addition, the prosecutor's claim for damages in the interests of the "Sergach Central District Hospital" was fully satisfied. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
