The case of the former head of the Nizhny Novgorod GUMMID, Levdikov, will be considered in a special manner.

      On May 12, 2026, at 18:17, the Nizhny Novgorod District Court will consider the case of former head of the GUMMiD Andrey Levdikov in a special procedure. The defendant has entered into a pre-trial agreement with the prosecution and has admitted his guilt in receiving bribes and committing fraud. In a special procedure, the court does not examine the evidence of the parties, after which it moves on to the debates and issues a guilty verdict, reports "Ъ-Privolzhye." The former head is charged with receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount, as well as fraud. According to the investigation, in 2024-2025, he assisted commercial organizations in participating in tenders for the construction and repair of roads in Nizhny Novgorod and facilitated the conclusion of municipal contracts with them. As a reward, investigators believe, he had a renovation of an apartment worth about 11.5 million rubles done for him. Furthermore, as established by law enforcement agencies, Levdikov received 2.5 million rubles from the deputy director of JSC "DSK Avtoban." According to the investigation, the funds were allegedly transferred for a subsequent bribe to an official to expedite the examination of the adjustment of the "Duplication of Gagarin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod" project; however, in fact, the accused disposed of the money at his discretion. It should be noted that the former general director of the Nizhny Novgorod GUMMiD was arrested in September 2025. It was previously reported that the former city manager of Nizhny Novgorod, Oleg Kondrashov, was sentenced in absentia to ten years in a strict regime colony and fined 340 million rubles for bribery.
