It has been revealed who will head the Semyonovskaya Central District Hospital after the arrest of the former chief physician.

      May 7, 2026 12:13 Society Victoria Figareva will soon be officially appointed as the chief physician of the Semyonov Central District Hospital. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. On May 5, the medical institution was visited by Deputy Governor Andrey Checherin and the region's Minister of Health Galina Mikhailova. Following the visit, they expressed satisfaction with the results of Victoria Figareva's three-month work, who had previously held the position in an acting capacity. It is worth noting that for nearly three years, the hospital was led only by acting officials. For almost 18 years, the chief physician of the Semyonov Central District Hospital was Pyotr Skudnyakov, who was detained in July 2023. Later, he received a five-year suspended sentence for exceeding and abusing his official powers. It was previously reported that Natalia Beloglazova has taken over the Nizhny Novgorod Oncology Center.
