This was reported by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev at a meeting of the city council in response to a question from the chairman of the permanent commission on urban planning and architecture, Mikhail Ivanov, as reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" correspondent. According to the city head, the agreements vary in goals and construction parameters, but they are united by a comprehensive approach to territorial development. This involves not only the construction of new housing on the sites of emergency and dilapidated houses but also the full development of areas taking into account the needs of the city. This format allows for simultaneous resolution of issues related to resettlement, the construction of social facilities, the development of the road network, and the provision of engineering infrastructure. The comprehensive approach, the mayor emphasized, enables balanced development of the city. According to him, the projects under the comprehensive development of territories (CDT) include the resettlement of 153 houses. This measure also covers buildings that are not included in existing programs. According to the mayor, about 20 houses have already been resettled, most of which have been demolished. Additionally, within the framework of the comprehensive development of territories, permits have been obtained for the construction of two kindergartens. As Yuri Shalabaev noted, the first results of the implementation of the mechanism are already noticeable, and the CDT tool has proven its effectiveness, so it is planned to be used further.
